Colorful Women
Our fifth and last (but not least!) featured artist for our April exhibition;
Jeannette Guichard-Bunel explores the mysterious and spiritual nature of femininity in a dream-like vision, where surrealism and pop-art create a triumphant union. In her own words, “painting is an attempt to access the invisible by using the logic of the visible”.
To create an enriching, magical effect, the French painter uses glazing. This technique - application of a transparent color layer over an opaque color layer - gives her artworks a smooth, lustrous surface and brings out the purity of the colors.
Join us on the opening night to discover up close the hypnotizing beauty of Guichard-Bunel’s paintings. We will be waiting for you on April 20th!
