Discover our new featured artist:

Laurent Parcelier

Discover the enchanting world of Laurent Parcelier, a virtuoso of light and color, whose paintings capture the essence of idyllic landscapes and vibrant city scenes. Born in the picturesque region of Auvergne, France, in 1962, Parcelier embarked on his artistic journey at the prestigious Duperre School of Applied Arts in Paris. Initially carving his path as an illustrator and comic strip author, he published eight acclaimed albums with Casterman between 1986 and 1996.

A pivotal moment came in 1996 when Parcelier's artistry was recognized with the first prize in a street painting contest, igniting his passion to fully immerse himself in the world of painting. His subsequent participation in the Perigueux exhibition of the Salon des Beaux-Arts marked the beginning of a celebrated career, showcasing his work in esteemed galleries across France and the USA.

Parcelier's paintings are a testament to his unique vision, a place "where there is no sadness or tears," as described by fellow artist Howard Behrens. Utilizing oil on canvas, he blends his comic art skills with a profound understanding of light and color to create scenes that invite viewers into a warm, golden-hued world. His work, cherished by collectors globally, offers a glimpse into a realm where beauty and serenity prevail.

Join us in experiencing the captivating art of Laurent Parcelier, a modern master whose canvases promise not just a visual feast, but a journey to a place of endless beauty and tranquility.
